I was talking with a lender today and I was surprised by how much money he was saving his clients on their loan. I was also surprised by how many people are not taking advantage of the low rates.
Almost everyone was locking in at under 3% and saving up to several hundred dollars a month by refinancing their mortgage. The lenders’ suggestion is if you are over mid 3’s on your rate, you should absolutely be looking into your options.
