Dear Family, Friends and Business Associates,
I’m proud to tell you that I’m going “behind bars” to help in the fight against muscle disease. I’m joining other community leaders to help raise critical funds for MDA, Muscular Dystrophy Association, and I need your help to reach my bail! There are approximately 500 families with muscular dystrophy in Montana, with over 100 families residing in Missoula and surrounding areas. 100% of the funds raised for this event remain in Montana to help the families in our community with wheelchairs, equipment, summer camp for our children, clinics and support group.
MDA pays for every child between the ages of 6-17 to attend a special summer camp in Gold Creek, MT (Camp Mak-a-Dream). The cost to send one child to camp is $800. The summer camp is a very special time of the year for children with neuromuscular diseases and designed specifically for children with muscular dystrophy.
The Missoula Lock Up takes place on June 20th , 2013 at Jakers but I’m raising my bail before I go to jail!
